Welcome to Mrs Allsop's class.

 Hello!

Welcome to Year 6.This term we will be learning all about the USA. We will be learning about its geography as well as some of its famous artists and musicians. We will be reading 'Holes' by Louis Sachar as our class novel and basing much of our English work on the book. Important information to remember.  

Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school all week and that everything is labelled. Please read with your child as often as you can at home- it really does help! Oak class have PE every Tuesday and every other Friday.

Please also ensure that any reading done at home is logged in your child's reading record book. There are also statutory spellings to learn and a list of recommended reading.
